Directions to the Track:
Albany Motorsports Park is located about 3 miles north of Albany on the east side of I-5.
South bound on I-5 take Viewcrest exit 237 go back over the freeway, at stop sign take a right (south) on Century Dr, go about 1 mile turn left onto Berry Dr, the track is on your left.
North bound on I-5 take Viewcrest exit 235, at stop sign go to your left (north) on Century Dr, go just under 1 mile turn right on Berry Dr, the track is on your left.
What to expect:
General Information — located just 60 miles outside of Portland — is a mile-long classic motocross circuit, renowned throughout the Pacific Northwest for its quality surface and sandy loam that is almost entirely rock and dust free. Featuring small and large double jumps, triple jumps, tabletop jumps and high-speed sweepers, the track has a little bit of something for everyone. In fact three new jumps have just been incorporated into its layout, sending riders 100-140-feet in distance – at 30-feet above the ground. The track itself varying in length from3/4 mile to around 1 mile. Albany Motorsports Park is also a great place for spectators, not only is the Park blanketed in grass, but the track itself is 100% accessible to fans while they can circulate it with the help of catwalks and tunnels, port-a-potty’s scattered throughout. Fun and family-oriented comforts also are provided at the venue as basketball courts, swimming pools, flushing toilets and showers are all readily available. The quality of racing will suit both the riders new to the sport and the professional rider alike.
Camping: Camping is welcomed and usually costs $10. per night per family. There is potable water on-site, but no permanent water hookups. Power is available in several locations.
Bike Cleaning stations: Non-potable water stations are readily available for bike cleaning, -bring your own hose.
Start Times: WeekDay Practice 3pm – Dark / Weekend Practice 10-3 / Race Day Gate Opens & Signup’s 7-8am, Practice starts at 8:30am
Overall Rating: Possibly the most user friendly track in the Northwest and arguably the best racing.
Classes:
Everything from the Beginner’s to the Pro’s are regular events here. There will be a class for everyone’s skill level and even a new ATV utility class for 2007. -Quads are always welcome and they will have quad classes for all skill levels.
Trophy’s are usually given to 33% of entries, with 100% payback for pro’s. *look for the 100% trophy days (for all finishers)
