Notes By Nate Whitlow

My very first race was at Salem Arenacross February 10th of 2000. I remember that because it was my birthday and as a kid that was the best day ever.

Salem Arenacross is located at the Salem fair grounds it is a good facility. There is plenty of parking, the building is open on all sides so the smoke from the bikes is not an issue, and there are huge bathrooms on both ends of the building. The track is usually four lanes they change it up usually every week. The track is not dangerous for the beginner. All of their tracks are designed so the beginner rider can roll over every obstacle safely if needed, but there are usually some challenging options on the track for the advanced rider.

The Leach family does a great job of keeping it as safe as possible and pleasing there customers. I would like to thank the Leach family for always giving my family a good place to come have a relaxed day of riding and fun.
