This Webpage is dedicated to one of our personal hero's here at NWmoto.com, Mr. Coleton "koolhand" Thornton, 12 year old # 526 Honda rider of Springfield Oregon. Coleton was born with what is known as "Amniotic Banding Syndrome", this is a situation where an appendage is not allowed to fully grow prior to birth. In other words, in Colton's case, he was born without a left hand. For most people, the thought of riding a motorcycle without having both hands would be unimaginable or impossible, let alone competitive racing.. But for Coleton Thornton, the thought of Not riding & racing is unimaginable AND Impossible!

For all of us here at NWmoto.com, we congratulate Colton in regards to all of the achievements he has made, his sportsmanship and his determination in the great sport of motocross. Coleton is a premier addition to the ranks of young Oregon riders -And someone we all can look toward when we think we are limited in some way, due to the loss of a limb or otherwise.

Welcome to

Here's some of my favorite pics of Koolhand. There's nobody more fun to give heck than Coleton 526. He gets irritated easily when ol' Fatty's filming his crashes..

Can you see his eyes? Staring Down the Camera Man...

I'm happy that helmets have chin guards nowadays, otherwise you could see him cussing me out!

Gotta clear it! ....If you don't..
