We miss ya Tevon.. Hope to see you at the Washougal Nationals in July

NOFEAR - MOTO-X AMERICA TOUR
Back for 2008?
RED, WHITE & BRUISED

|
Will the NoFear Moto-x America tour be coming back to Oregon for 2008?
Last years Moto-X America tour held at Albany Motorsports Park & presented by No Fear was a huge success and surely Oregon's most exciting motocross event of 2007. All of the premier mx classes were offered clean through the Pee Wee class. Brand named gifts & prizes galore, first timer classes for the "new to the sport" folks, Quads classes, Pitbike races and the legendary Team race, which required riders to sprint to their bikes, ride a lap, switching riders on each lap! What an AWESOME Event! All the fun racing followed by a huge tug-o war over a large mudhole near the starting line. Dad's vs Kids, Tough guy's vs tough guys, even some mom's got involved. If that wasn't enough, NoFear added a competitive egg toss that gave everyone FEAR!
The whole family had a blast last year and everyone was bruised only when ending their superior weekend. The No Fear event was second to none in Oregon last year and we all hope they'll come back in 2008.
As of yet, we havn't heard if they have actually booked a date in Oregon for 2008, however we have heard rumors that they may be looking to schedule a race weekend sometime in July, at Albany Motorsports Park? --We Sure Hope So!!

-No more Wed night practice at Albany MX for 2007. First practice at Salem Indoor will be October 24th

Wow! What a Great event it was.. Bob Leach and the crew went beyond the call when it came to the track construction and setting. There were logs everywhere, piles of rocks, a sand pit, cascade jumps, and the unique Red Bull catapult, custom made by Bob Leach. The racing was awesome and, suprisingly the pit-bike race was some of the best racing due to the fact that the bikes were so small with the obsticles so large. We hope to see it back next year! |

The Motocross Tracks of Oregon:
Albany Motorsports Park - Outdoor motocross Albany, OR From March through October, Albany runs Saturday and Sunday races and Wednesday practices. The course is revised for each race and ranges from 1-1/2 to two-miles in length. The sand-over-clay dirt is loamy when prepped. Leaps include 40- to 120-foot doubles and triples, a 100-foot double-decker tabletop, and a three-tier step-up that, depending a track direction, can be jumped 120- to 160-feet. Nearest town: Albany. Contact: (541) 928-4474 or (541) 924-0475
Clarks Branch Cycle Club - Up to two races a month are offered from January through June and September through December. The track is open for practice seven days a week. Measuring one-mile, the sandy clay dirt stays intermediate on half of the track and packs on the rest. A 100-foot downhill double and 65-foot concessions tabletop are the talked about jumps. Eugene Motocross aka Territorial MX - Outdoor Motocross Elmira, OR Measuring one-mile, the intermediate red clay track sprawls across a gentle hillside. Known more as a fast layout, Eugenes stand-out jumps include a 110-foot triple, 60-foot uphill tabletop and a 55-foot downhill double. leaps are the 165-foot double, 80-foot tabletop and 80-foot triple. Nearest town: Madras.
Medford Motocross - Outdoor Motocross Central Point, OR This 16-acre motoplex spent most of its life in the rumor mill until Vet racers Greg McDaniel and Joe Bruhns made it happen.
