Salem Arenacross

Things to know:

-Cash only, No checks!

-Do Not Park in the Fire Zone (yellow painted area), you will be towed.

-No Pit riding

-ride slowly in the pits

- Salem Arenacross is a CMC sanctioned track, you must buy a CMC card/membership prior to racing in some events. You can purchase the card at the track if required.

Located at the State Fairgrounds in Salem - exact location to be determined.

What to expect:

General Information Events are typically held in the horse arena at the fairgrounds. An ever-changing supercross style coarse is regularly maintained by the Leach crew. Quality soil is brought into the building for the racing surface. The track always seems to have a little steeper jumps than normal, but this is most likely due to the smaller area the crew works with. The moisture content in the soil is almost always perfect for racing. Sign-ups at 8am practice at 9:30am, Racing at 11:am.


Camping: Camping is
first come first sites and usually costs $20. per night per family. *No Power or Water for hookups.

Bike Cleaning stations: Not Available

Start Times: WeekDay Practice 5pm - 9pm / Race Day Gate Opens & Signup's 7-8am, Practice starts at 9:30am, racing at 11:00am

Cost:: Race Day Gate Fee: $10 Adults 12-64>, <$5 Children 6-11>, <$5 Seniors 65+>, <Children 5 and under Free>

Race Fee per moto: $30 Pro, $25 all others

Practice Fee (practice days): $25 per rider, $5 per spectator

Overall Rating: Fun Track, Nice folks running the events. Come out and enjoy the racing.

Classes:

Everything from the Beginner's to the Pro's are regular events here. There will be a class for everyone's skill level and even a new ATV utility class for 2007. -Quads are always welcome and have quad classes for all skill levels.

Trophy's are usually given to 33% of entries, with 100% payback for pro's. *look for the 100% trophy days (for all finishers)
